Maia acquired a 14-hectare rural holding at Dominion Road, Tuakau and secured a plan change rezoning the land from rural to residential — unlocking capacity for more than 200 residential sections in one of the region's key growth corridors.

With the rezoning achieved and the value created, Maia realised the investment through a sale of the site — a disciplined entry-to-exit play that captured the planning uplift without holding through the full development cycle.
